I am not a parent but offer advice based on what I have learned. It is important to listen and learn from research, but at the end of the day do what is right for you as a parent! Information about the author:

I am a fourth year student studying Psychology, I am graduating at the beginning of June and will have my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am taking time off after school to move and hopefully find a job related to my field. I plan on going back to school part-time or online in a few years depending on where my career is at. I do plan on having children one day and am hopeful all of this knowledge will help me form secure attachments with my children.
